This year I discovered my love for all things LV Speedy. When DUYP announced these bags, I wanted one but I'm not a fan of dark colors so I waited until Melodie came out with this little cream number. I preordered it and waited several weeks for it patiently. By then I had already received the all black version I ordered when it went on sale and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and ease of use of the little bag that I am just so happy I had already ordered the cream one too. The DUYP Boston Bags are a little bigger than the LV Speedy 20, which is a big pro for me. Both bags feel so nice to the touch, inside and out. The inserts are of such high quality and a great value along with the two straps that come with the bags (Thank you for including a leather strap, Melodie!!). I'm personally wearing my black bag without the insert because it feels so smooshy and delicious. As for the cream, that one will be saved for spring and summer while I enjoy my black bag. Me wearing a black bag...who knew? :). Melodie, how about coming out with a red or turtledove version? Thanks Melodie!!!
This was my first handbag purchase from DUYP and it’s no surprise that I was insanely impressed as I’ve owned several SLG’s and have equally loved them. This bag completely satiated my desire for a Boston style bag in a smaller size along with a piece that has beautiful vachetta. Every aspect of the bag feels super lux and has impeccable craftsmanship. Don’t hesitate or wait like I did, and get these pieces that are often sold out to enjoy right away! Watch out lux world….I am finding less and less reason to “splurge” when you have a brand like this so passionate to source amazing materials and craftsmanship at a fraction of the cost. THANKS DUYP!
